Inside Line Tips

TAPE:

Ball slipping off your hand? Touring professionals and seasoned amateurs will both tell you that one or two pieces of white tape in the front of your thumb hole will go a long way towards solving your problems. Your thumb changes size for many reasons. Weight gain or loss, temperature, humidity, or even what you had for lunch can affect the size of your thumb. Since these changes can occur in a matter of hours it may not always be practical to seek out your pro shop operator to change the size of the hole in your ball. Bowlers tape is a practical way to make minute adjustments to hole sizes. Bowlers tape comes in two varieties: Black tape is smoother and is generally used in the back of the hole to take up space and White tape has a little bit of texture and is usually used in the front side of the hole to provide a slight amount of grip.

EXTRA TIP: For smaller thumb holes split tape length ways for narrower pieces...you don't have to use the full width.

If you want to raise your game to the next level try fine tuning your grip with a piece of bowlers tape.
