Inside Line Tips

ETIQUETTE:

Etiquette is more than just waiting for the guy next to you to go first. Etiquette concerns all of your conduct and actions on the lanes. Everything from how you respond to your team mates and opponents to how you react to your own misfortunes. Here are a few tips on some of the things that you may not have thought of as etiquette:

  1.

With todays wide range of conditions and the balls to deal with them many of us are carrying more than one bag- Once you have decided on the correct one place the rest under the seats or back out of the settee area. Anyone looking for some place to sit will be appreciative.

  2.

There are a wide range of hand conditioners available. Some tacky and some a little more slick. It's a good idea to leave these back out of the bowling area. This keeps the area safer for everyone. Never leave a rosin bag or E Z slide bag on the floor.

  3.

Here in the North West living in the rain is a way of life. As bowlers most of you know that stepping in water can have a devastating affect on your next shot attempt. If you come in out of the rain change your shoes and remove your soggy clothing on the concourse - not in the bowling area.

  4.

Some times everything goes well and some times it does not. When things don't go well it does not help to abuse the facility. All this does is embarrass team mates and create a potentially harmful situation. Proprietors appreciate courteous patrons too.

Keeping the bowling environment safe and relaxed makes the bowling experience more enjoyable at any level.
