High School Bowling
Milwaukie Bowl is pleased to sponsor two teams in district 3, Milwaukie High School and Rex Putnam High School. These teams officially only practice once a week although most of these participants are members of other leagues such as the Milwaukie Junior Masters. There are only two actual High School Tournaments per year. The first being a district level competition with the top 2 or 3 teams from each district qualifying to go to the State High School Tournament. The State High School Tournament is the the second official competition. There are 16 boys teams spots and 16 team spots for girls. The State Tournament is a grueling two day marathon with regular team bowling, baker team bowling, and finally a stair step TV style finals with the teams rolling 2 game baker format matches. The winners are usually not only the best bowlers but the most durable as well. If you are interested in High School Bowling please contact: Jeff Combs, Milwaukie Bowl, 503-654-7719.
