To the Rex Putnam High School Girls and the Oregon City High School Boys bowling teams. Respectively each of these teams rolled so many strikes at Milwaukie Bowl that we had to get our pin setting machines serviced the next day.
The real story here was that the competition between all the schools were super tough and this was a nice victory to come home with.
Thanks to all of our Junior bowlers for their dazzling display of athleticism and sportsmanship!
Corey Husted and his PBA Hall of Fame father Dave Husted of Milwaukie, Ore., defeated Rob Cline and Sean Heath of Spokane, Wash., 511-475, to become the second father-son team to win a Professional Bowlers Association doubles title in the PBA Northwest Regional Doubles at Stardust Lanes in Walla Walla, Wash., on Oct. 16.
Congratulations Corey and Dave!
